Pipe Repair & Repiping
Leak detection, pipe repair, and whole-home repiping.
Finding the leak before it finds your ceiling
Most pipe leaks announce themselves long before water pours out. Bubbling or peeling paint, a water stain with no fixture above it, a warm spot on a floor, a soft patch of flooring, or the sound of running water when every tap in the house is off all point to a supply line that is already failing. A water bill that climbs with no change in habits is the same warning in numbers.
We start with the low-damage checks: a meter check with everything shut off, a pressure test on the supply side, and a look at the places leaks like to hide, such as slabs, crawl spaces, under-sink stops and the closet around the water heater. The goal is to find the leak without opening every wall first.
The free on-the-spot estimate comes at that point. You hear what is failing, what can wait and what the right fix is, and no work begins until you approve it. If water is moving right now, shut the main valve at the meter or where the line enters the house, then call the 24/7 line at (864) 436-3006.

Spot repair or repipe: where we draw the line
One failed fitting or a single split section is a spot repair. We cut out the bad length, fit new pipe with proper couplings, and test the line under pressure before anything gets closed back up. A repair like that is quick, and a good plumber will not talk you into more than the pipe needs.
Repiping is the other end of the scale, and it is planned work. When the same line has been patched again and again, when several leaks have opened in different places, or when the pipe is failing from the inside, patching only moves the failure to the next weak spot. A repipe replaces the run for good. Access points, fixture count and how to stage the house so you still have water at the end of each day all get worked out on site, so you are not buying a surprise rebuild.
A freeze is a good example. One split pipe in a crawl space often means other uninsulated runs are close behind it. We replace the split section and check the rest of the line, then tell you whether the lasting fix is a repair or a short repipe.
Copper, galvanized and the older homes of the Upstate
Older houses around Greenville, Taylors and Greer carry the plumbing of their era. Galvanized steel corrodes from the inside, narrows the bore and chokes pressure at the faucets long before it leaks. Failing polybutylene tends to give out at its fittings. Copper lasts, but a run that has been patched over and over is telling you its walls are thin.
We replace galvanized, failing polybutylene and repeatedly patched copper when spot repairs no longer make sense, and we say so honestly when they still do. Chelsea G. on Angi said it plainly after hiring us for a heater, a faucet and the piping in a bathroom: they definitely know what they are doing.
Repair and repipe work is covered by our one-year labor warranty on qualifying repairs, and it serves homes and businesses across Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and the surrounding Upstate. For the leak you cannot see, the Leak Detection page covers the electronic locating side, and for a line that fails between the meter and the house, see Water Line Services.
